They're among the many celebrities whose famous names have been hijacked by cyber-squatters – people who buy famous-sounding web domains to benefit from the related publicity. In fact, according to a post at the traverselegal blog, madonna.com, juliaroberts.com and piercebrosnan.com have all appeared in cyber-squatting cases (now rising to record levels) before the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
