READING, UK - Norbain LIVE will be bringing together leading suppliers of IP video solutions, giving the opportunity to find out how this fast-growing technology can be used and what advantages it brings with it. Some of the latest IP video products available for demonstration are detailed below.

If someone needs to make the shift from analogue CCTV to network video or tries to build first IP-Surveillance system, Axis has the answer.

It’s easy to build an IP-Surveillance system that combines the benefits of analogue and network video systems. No surveillance system is too small to benefit from making the transition to network video technology.

Even a single analogue camera connected to a video server will give a full range of advantages that come from digital, networked surveillance.

Axis network video solutions run on standard Ethernet networking, and support a number of advanced technologies so you can leverage your investments.

Dedicated Micros will be showcasing NetVu Console, a powerful remote CCTV viewing station.

The two concepts driving developments in today’s security market are IP and integration, and GE Security are experts in both areas.

In the IP arena, they’ve created a whole new concept in remote communication and control which provides a wall-to-wall solution for communicating via IP. Their IP solutions cover reporting and receiving facilities, as well as management systems with fully integrated CCTV solutions and optional video transmission using IP.

The world’s first dedicated IP/PoE lighting system, Raytec’s RAYMAX IP and RAYLUX IP Infra-Red and White-Light illuminators are designed to provide dedicated lighting for IP cameras via a PoE (Power over Ethernet) cable.

Samsung Techwin will be demonstrating the SNC-550, a network camera that offers a choice of either MPEG-4 or JPEG compression with real time transmission at 25ips.

The Vista VIP-KIT is a plug ‘n’ play entry level solution which allows up to 16 cameras to be viewed, recorded, controlled and configured via the free, simple-to-use PC based software.
