LONDON - SD PETOSEVIC announced in a press release that it has received an official notification from the Kosovo IPO officials that the IPO in Kosovo will officially start to operate on November 19, 2007 and that the official fees have been published.
The law in Kosovo allows 12 months for re-registering Serbian registrations and re-filing pending applications.
After November 19, 2008, it will no longer be possible to maintain predecessor country priority for your IP rights in Kosovo.
The first step to revalidate is to prepare a list of Serbian registrations and applications that you wish to have revalidated/re-filed in Kosovo. Once we receive such a list, we will be able to provide you with a cost estimate.
SD PETOSEVIC provides a full range of Intellectual Property services in Eastern Europe, including the Balkans and the Commonwealth of Independent States (former USSR).
