The No Trade in Fakes Supply Chain Tool Kit: Protecting Businesses, Consumers and Brand Integrity is a report published by the Coalition Against Counterfeiting and Piracy (CACP). CACP is a group of over 500 business organizations established by the US Chamber of Commerce to fight the threat of counterfeiting and piracy to the economy, jobs, consumer health and safety and the business community.
The Tool Kit demonstrates successful strategies – from sourcing to distribution – employed by both large and small companies to eliminate illegitimate products from supply chains and protect their brand integrity from counterfeiters and modern-day pirates. Case studies of companies – including Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems, New Balance, and Purdue Pharma – examine the brand protection problems they each face and how they leveraged their resources and employed aggressive techniques to fight counterfeiting and piracy and protect consumers.
