Founded in 1987, MARQUES serves as the main European trademark owners association.  The organization represents member interests to every relevant European Union (EU) body as well as in all applicable international bodies. 

In addition to serving as the voice of European trade mark owners, MARQUES also coordinates social and educational events.  In addition, the Association seeks to improve cooperation and to promote the exchange of ideas and information between its members.
